SG-1 arrives on P9Y-4C3 in the country of Kelowna, one of three countries in an uneasy state of cold war. Sg-1 investigates the country and discovers that Kelowna’s technological level is similar to that of the United States in the 1940s, and that several Goa’uld artifacts were found near the planet’s stargate. From the artifacts they find a powerful Naquadah variant called Naquadria, which they are turning into a weapon. An accident leads to the Naquadria nearly exploding and Daniel Jackson saving millions from certain death, but he exposes himself to dangerous levels of radiation. Back at the SGC, Daniel lays dying until Oma Desala, an ascended being the team met on the planet Kheb, appears to him and offers him the chance to ascend.

When I was 15, the most I could make out of my LEGOs was a gun, and even then, you probably wouldn’t have been able to recognize it. Luckily, some 15-year-olds are a heck of a lot more talented than I was, like Sven Junga, who used LEGOs to create not only a spaceship—the Daedalus from Stargate Atlantis—but also an amazing diorama of the ship landing.

And it turns out that’s not the only sci-fi artifact re-created by Junga. Check out his Flickr feed for more of his awesome LEGO pics.

MGM Studios, which funds a significant portion of the production of Stargate Universe, may not be able to successfully sell itself to a new set of investors. It may instead be forced into bankruptcy reorganization and debt restructuring. As stated in The Hollywood Reporter, MGM is $3.7 billion in debt.

With MGM debt recently trading at 60 cents on the dollar, that would mean the studio would have to sell for more than $2.2 billion to fully pay off lenders. But almost nobody sees the Lion fetching that sort of money…

If a top bid for MGM fails to find enough support among its more than 140 lenders, the only other option would be a debt restructuring. That probably would include a prepackaged bankruptcy reorganization by which lenders would morph into owners and present owners would see their stakes heavily diluted.
